A list of works by Timm Ulrichs, a German pioneer of concrete poetry, computer art, and copy art. In addition to his major artist books, which display his "style of stylelessness" and consistently blur the line between original and copy, this collection also contains a significant group of original correspondence by the artist.
The periodicals, books, ephemera, photographs, posters and original art objects gathered here document the central debates around the various efforts to preserve historical pre-war buildings in cities such as Berlin, Frankfurt, and Hamburg, as well as the related subcultural groups that eventually arose from the movement.
A richly illustrated exhibition and sale catalog, it serves as a comprehensive introduction to unofficial art in Poland in the 1970s and 1980s, based on difficult-to-access, mostly handmade artists' books, magazines, multiples, posters and other ephemera, as well as photographs, drawings and autographs.
